Cloth Diapers

I decided to start using cloth diapers. Not only are they the green way to go, but they will save me some green in the long run. So far so good! They are almost as easy to use as disposables, and Lily hasn't complained. And they are so darn cute. They come in a rainbow of colors and you don't need pins of diaper covers (at least not for the kind I am using!). The hubby is still a little skeptical, but he is coming around. The only downside, if it is even a downside, is they take up way more room in the diaper bag. Since I am a total over-packer anyway, my diaper bag is quite bulky. When I go over to someone's house, I think they may be afraid that I am moving in. And since they aren't disposable, the bag never gets any smaller, no matter how many diapers you go through. Doesn't she just look adorable!!

Welcome to our blog!

So I decided that maybe I should start a blog. Why, you ask? A couple reasons. First of all, to keep our family and friends informed about what is going on in our lives. Lily does new things every day, and this way you can just log on and check in case we don't remember to tell you. Which brings me to my second reason...Lily does something new everyday, and here I can keep track of what she does and when she does it. All those little milestones and developments. I definitely have a case of mommy memory...I already can't remember when exactly she first smiled, and this is unacceptable to me. So, for myself as much as everyone else, I want to chronicle my baby's achievements! Enjoy!
